Sixth Form students from 鶹ýAV are receiving a wide array of university study offers, to enable them to continue their studies into Higher Education at some of the world’s most prestigious universities. Of these, many Year 13 students are receiving Unconditional Offers, while others are receiving exclusive Scholarship opportunities.

We are also pleased to note that this year’s cohort have to date received 30 offers to attend the world-class and elite Russell Group universities, while many others have received multiple invitations to study at other first-class institutions across an array of countries and continents, showcasing that an education at Oryx opens pathways for success across the globe!

Sixth Form students at 鶹ýAV, should be incredibly proud of themselves this year, thanks to the quality of University Offers that they are receiving.

Many of the Offers this year are “Unconditional” highlighting the desire for these world-class institutions to secure Oryx students to continue their studies with them.

Highlights must be paid to some particular students in this regard;

  • Gabriel S has secured a total of 7 offers for places at university, but his offer to study at Japan’s Kyushu University offers him a full scholarship including a monthly living allowance and return flights for the start and end of the course.
  • Pashmin T received two unconditional offers with scholarships to Massey University and University of Canterbury. She received a total of 10 offers from the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
  • Ahmad M has received substantial Full Scholarship Offers from various universities
  • Spyridon K received a total of 13 university offers from the UK; 4 from Netherlands; 1 from Qatar and 1 from Cyprus

The ’s 24 university members are world-class, research-intensive universities. These institutions are unique, in that each of them comes with its own history and ethos, but they collectively share some distinguishing characteristics that culminate in this mark of excellence.

This is no small feat, and the opportunities presented to them, pay testament to their hard work, focus and determination.

Our students have achieved these incredible offers, thanks to the high scores that they have been forecast for their final Sixth Form exams this summer’s A Levels, which have been determined by their mock examinations taken earlier this year.

Similar praise must be extended to the school’s academic teaching staff and examinations staff, for their wonderful work and support for our students.

In particular, we would like to highlight the dedication and efforts made by our School Careers & Guidance Counsellor, Mr Charles Amaso, and Mrs Sarah Dewey, our Head of Sixth Form, who spend their time with the students carefully guiding and coaching them for their subject choices and university entrance interviews. This meticulous attention to detail and personalised approach ensure that each and every one of our graduating students can enter into the chosen field and study path upon graduating from 鶹ýAV.

Mr Charles Amaso, the school’s Career Guidance Counsellor added,

"Our students continue to receive offers to destinations all around the world, including the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, and Asia. While 75% of our students who applied to universities in the UK in 2025 have received offers from Russell Group universities, which is an absolutely amazing feat."

In addition to the Year 13 graduating cohort, the school is also proud to congratulate some of their Year 12 cohort, who, having completed their AS Levels, have too gone on to achieve university offers and will be graduating the school this year, to attend universities across the Middle East, Asia, North America & Europe.

This achievement is particularly remarkable when looking at the diverse make-up of the cohort. The school, as it is called, is truly international. Current students are from more than 90 nationalities, with the Year 13 cohort specifically coming from 23 nationalities. Of these, only 5 students of the 41 cohort, come from English-native speaking countries, which makes this achievement even more astounding, as these students have earned places over and above thousands of other candidates, as second-language speakers.

Mr Laidlaw, Executive Principal, added

"These incredible offers reflect the quality of teaching and learning that takes place at 鶹ýAV. They are wholeheartedly a testament to the hard work of our students, dedication and support of our parental body and the extremelyhigh teaching standards at our school. My sincerest congratulations to you all."

鶹ýAV, opened its doors in 2016 and has since seen three graduating cohorts, the 2025 cohort will be the school’s fourth tranche of students to go on to win places at university and other higher education institutions across the world.

Studying under the English National Curriculum allows the students a hands-on, practical learning approach, that prepares them to face the challenges of tomorrow’s society and embeds in them the school’s five key values of Excellence, Respect, Responsibility, Integrity and Compassion.
